The Consulate General of the state of Qatar in the Kingdom of Spain-Barcelona held a reception on the occasion of the country's National day, which fall on December 18.The celebration was attended by a number of officials , heads of accredited diplomatic missions, businessmen, and number of Qatar in Barcelona.

H E. Mohammed bin Sami Al Subaey, Consul General, met with Mr. Fernando Rodriguez Aguiz, Commander of the National Police at Barcelona International Airport, and his deputy, Mr. Luis Gil de Sola, at the Consulate. During the meeting, several issues of mutual interest were discussed.

His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Sami Alsubaey, the Consul General, met with Captain José Luis Barón Toriño, Delegate of Defense in Catalonia, at the headquarters of the Defense Delegation in Barcelona, where they discussed matters of common interest.

H E. Mohammed bin Sami Al Subaie, Consul General, met with Ms. Mariam Martinez Tortosa, Head of the Diplomatic Missions Security Department of the National Police in Barcelona, at the Consulate General. During the meeting, they discussed ways to enhance cooperation and a number of issues of common interest.
