The Consulate of the State of Qatar in Barcelona celebrates the National Day. H.E.  Issa bin Jaber Al Jaham Al-Kuwari held a reception .The reception was attended by H.E. Teresa Cunillera, the representative of the Spanish Government in Catalonia  , and , H.E. Carlos Prieto, the representative of the Spanish Government in Barcelona , the representative of the Ministry of Defence in Catalonia , the General Director of the Catalan Local Police (Mosso d'Escuadra), the Commander of the Navy, the Commander of the Air Force as well as many heads of diplomatic missions in Barcelona.

H.E. the Consul General gave a speech and in it, he referred to the slogan of the Qatar National Day this year , which is derived from the poetry of the Founder of Qatar , Sheikh Mohammed bin Jassim Al Thani . The speech also focused on the bilateral relations between the Kingdom of Spain and the State of Qatar, in all fields which also detailed ways of strengthening them.
